Ti Grade7, its mechanical and physical properties are similar to Gr 2. This grade also has excellent manufacturing, welding and forming properties. ASTM B338 grade 7 titanium alloy tube is a lightweight, scratch-safe and unattractive metal, superior to hardened steel in thicknessanderosion resistance (especially in salt water). These grade 7 titanium welded tubes are also used as grade 7 titanium heat exchange tubes in power plants. Titanium alloy grade 7 pipes have a high specific gravity with a liquefaction point of 1725'C, which allows the use of ASTM B778 titanium grade 7 welded pipes in the development of flow motors.
