As an α-β titanium alloy, Grade 5 features a superior strength-to-weight ratio, excellent corrosion resistance, and significantly higher hardness and mechanical properties compared with commercially pure Grade 2 titanium. This makes it the most widely used titanium alloy across aerospace, chemical, marine, medical, and industrial applications.
