Description

Incoloy800/alloy800 has good stress corrosion crack resistance, stress corrosion crack resistance in water chloride, corrosion resistance of steam, air and carbon dioxide mixture, HNO3, HCOOH, CH3COOH, CH3CH2COOH and other organic acids corrosion resistance is good. Often used in the production of petrochemical field and various heat treatment furnace of all kinds of pipes, heat exchangers, liquid still, etc.

Incoloy 800/800HT Pipes & Tubes are used in the nuclear power plant and paper pulp industry. These tubes are often used in reforming furnaces of steam methane and also in extruded tubing. They are manufactured both seamless as well as welded forms.

 

Inconel 800 tube is primarily used in applications, where the temperature could rise up to 1100° F. On the other hand, its derivative alloys such as Inconel 800H and Inconel 800HT Electropolish Tube are normally used those applications where the temperatures could exceed 1100° F. In times where the temperature can reach beyond 1100° F, Incoloy 800HT ERW Tube when used aids in providing resistance to creep as well as rupture if required. The chemical balance in the Inconel 800 Instrumentation tube allows this nickel steel based alloy to exhibit excellent resistance to corrosion such as carburization and oxidation.
