Description
HASTELLOY G35 tube is composed of various elements, including nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten, among others. These elements make it resistant to corrosion, especially in high concentrations of sulfuric acid, as well as the sour gas environment with hydrogen sulfide and chlorides. Additionally, HASTELLOY G35 tube can withstand high temperatures of up to 870°C or 1600°F and maintain its structural integrity.
The benefits of HASTELLOY G35 tube include its resistance to corrosion, high strength, and durability. This tube can withstand extreme acidic environments, making it ideal for chemical processing applications. Furthermore, it can maintain its structural integrity even under high temperatures and pressure, which is essential for power generation applications. HASTELLOY G35 Tube has some notable differences from other similar alloy tubes, such as HASTELLOY C276 and Inconel 625. Inconel 625 has a higher corrosion resistance to stress corrosion cracking than HASTELLOY G35 tube; however, HASTELLOY G35 tube offers better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion than Inconel 625. Additionally, HASTELLOY C276 has a better corrosive resistance to wet chlorine environments, which HASTELLOY G35 tube is not suitable.
