Introduce the classification and process difference of titanium tubes

In recent years, the production of welded pipes that have been built and prepared by state-owned enterprises and private enterprises has slowed down by more than 80, and the proportion of welded titanium pipes in titanium pipes will gradually increase. Titanium plate and titanium alloy thin-walled welded pipe are difficult to manufacture and are high-end products. With the breakthrough of domestic titanium belt production technology, China has successfully mass-produced titanium welded pipes.


The production process of titanium welded pipe is: titanium coil - slitting forming - welding - shaping and sizing - heat treatment - straightening - eddy current, ultrasonic testing - airtight testing - finished welded pipe. Roller continuous forming machines have many forming methods. For the titanium welded pipe, the W bending forming method has good molding quality and is suitable for use. The edge bending method is suitable for the production of welded pipes with a diameter greater than 200 mm. The welding method of the pipe joint mainly includes high-frequency welding hand argon arc welding. Argon protection is required when welding and welding welds are above 450T.


One is a squeeze type called a seamless titanium tube; the other is a welded type called a welded titanium tube. The extruded titanium tube includes a cold rolled pipe, a spun pipe, and a stretched pipe. Most of the extruded titanium products belong to the tube blank of cold-worked pipes, and also include some hot-extruded pipes, profiled parts, profiles and composites used as finished products.


The minimum specification of pipe is 2mmx0.5mm diameter. The longest length of pure titanium pipe can reach 15m. There are two ways to prepare titanium pipe blank: one is the hole punching and punching process, the metal loss is large, but the pipe wall thickness is thick. Uniform; the other is the cross-rolling and perforating process, the metal consumption is small, but the tube blank thickness tolerance is large. Hot extrusion of titanium sheets and titanium alloys is carried out using an extruder. The glass is lubricated and extruded, and the extrusion ratio is larger than that of the jacket. The titanium alloy profile glass is lubricated in the P phase region, and the maximum extrusion ratio is up to 150. Generally, the medium speed (50 to 120 mm/extrusion) is adopted.


The extrusion ratio of titanium is generally less than 30, and the titanium tube is generally divided into two types. The TC4 titanium alloy uses an extrusion ratio. The lubricants used are mainly three types of greases, glass lubricants and metal coatings. Glass Lubrication Extrusion The most advanced lubrication process in the world, but the Chinese titanium pipe glass is lubricated and squeezed: the pressure has not reached the industrial application level, and the titanium alloy profile glass lubrication extrusion has taken: a breakthrough. Coated lubrication is the coating of copper, mild steel or other metals on the outside of the blank. The metal coating extrusion process is complicated, the cost is high, and the environment in the pickling process is seriously polluted. The extrusion die is generally preheated to 300 to 400 degrees. Under normal circumstances, the service life of each extruded BE die is about 20 times. For profile extrusion, in order to improve the dimensional accuracy of the thin-walled profile and the wear resistance of the tool, the zirconium dioxide coating must be applied to the mold by plasma. When the specifications are single and the batch size is large, the production of the tube blank by the cross-rolling perforation method can obtain better technical and economic effects. The cross-rolling perforation method has two types of roll-type perforation and three-roll type cross-rolling.
