Hastelloy C22 (N06022) is a nickel-based superalloy consisting of nickel, molybdenum, cobalt, tungsten and other elements, with a nickel content of about 60%. It is a versatile Ni-cr-Mo alloy that offers better overall corrosion resistance than other existing Ni-Cr-Mo alloys, including Hastelloy C-276, C4 and 625 alloys. Hastelloy C22 alloys have excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It has excellent resistance to oxidizing water media, including wet ammonia, nitric acid, or oxidizing acid mixtures containing chloride ions.
