Titanium alloy springs have the advantages of small size, light weight, excellent corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance.

Even if the two materials have the same specific gravity, the weight of the titanium alloy spring is lighter than that of the steel spring because it uses less material.
In most cases, the weight of the titanium alloy spring is 60% to 70% lighter than the steel spring, and the height design of the titanium alloy spring can also be reduced, which is 50%~80% lower than the steel spring.
Another advantage of titanium alloy springs is corrosion resistance. In a standard salt spray corrosion fatigue test, the fatigue life of a typical steel spring is 50% lower than in air. In the same experiment, the fatigue life of titanium springs was only 4% lower than in air. Moreover, unlike steel springs, titanium alloy springs do not require protective plating.
