Plate heat exchanger is an efficient and compact heat exchanger. It was first developed as a continuous low temperature sterilizer in 1880s. It was applied to the food industry in 1920s. Because there are some unique features in the manufacture and use of plate heat exchanger, therefore, the heat exchanger has been widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, light industry, electric power, metallurgy, machinery, energy and other industries, become very competitive in the heat exchanger in the family of varieties. Our country began to produce plate heat exchanger from 1960s. So far, plate heat exchangers have been widely used in many fields of our country. Titanium and titanium alloy is a new kind of promising metal materials, titanium production has good corrosion resistance, high heat transfer efficiency and surface finish characteristics of fouling layer, low density, high strength, small equipment volume and quality of heat exchangers are widely used in aerospace, marine engineering, development, petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electronics, medicine, food processing, instrumentation and other fields.
1. Plate heat exchanger overview
Plate heat exchanger is a new type of high efficiency heat exchanger which consists of a series of corrugated metal sheets. Thin rectangular channels are formed between the plates, and heat exchange is carried out by halves. Compared with the conventional shell and tube heat exchangers, the heat transfer coefficient is much higher in the same flow resistance and pump power consumption, and has a tendency to replace the shell and tube heat exchangers in the applicable range.
Plate heat exchanger and heat exchanger industry plate materials are mainly austenitic stainless steel, titanium and titanium alloy, nickel and nickel alloy cold-rolled sheet. Industrial pure titanium 127 is used for plate heat exchangers, industrial pure titanium 276 and Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni345 for tubular heat exchangers. Plate heat exchangers with TA1 titanium plate, compared with tubular heat exchanger has many advantages, has very strong competitive power in the market, mainly used in chemical, petroleum, marine, seawater desalination and heat exchange system.
2. the basic structure of plate heat exchanger
Plate heat exchanger consists of two parts: frame and plate. The sheet is made of sheets made of a variety of materials, in which various shapes are used to press the corrugations of different shapes, and there are angular holes on the 4 corners of the plate, used for the flow passage of the medium. Rubber sheets and gaskets are used to seal the edges and corners of the plate. The frame is composed of a fixed pressing plate, a movable pressing plate, an upper and a lower guide rod and a clamping bolt. Plate heat exchanger is the plate in the form of superposition in the fixed compression plate, moving plate in the middle, and then clamp the bolt.
